    skiid first time sunday

    love it. im actually improving alot. im on the same hybrid biski. going to try to get out every weekend. still tethered w/ my instructor but hes not doing much now.
    it was -20 windchill sunday. i still loved it, im certainly hooked.

    Hey - fuentejps - glad you are liking skiing and getting to go. I have loved skiing for 42 years ever since I was 11.

    It's a blast isn't it? I hate the cold but it never seemed to bother me when I was on the slopes. Even with a tethered instructor there's a sense of freedom and independence in sailing down the slopes.

    How do you not just lock up from the cold? I would totally try it if I didn't lock up.

    Pre-injury I was an avid snow and water skier and since injured the thought of being led around the slops by an instructor as a C6/7 quad has never seemed attractive. You guys make it sound fun, so maybe I should give it a try.

    wtf/north,
    it was bitter but i have full ski gear now. i was good w/ body armor shirt, ski pants, ski jacket, helmet, goggles and gloves. only time i get real cold is on the lift. its a friggin workout man.

    unfortunately no pics it was to cold for my wife to stay out just standing there, lol. she was in the lodge w/ the other wives and gf's.

    i am getting a pair of bibbed pants for this weekend thou.

    i'll be going down un tethered soon.

    loose, at 6/7 youll ski ind, just need help getting on/off lift.
