    Happy Birthday.

Thank you for all the well wishes and other kind comments. My birthday was pretty non-eventful. The highlight was a demo of a Surehands lift by a company rep, followed by a trip to the meat market with my wife to pick up our freshly plucked turkey for tomorrow. I did spice up things in the evening with a bowel of chili. Lol Our 46th wedding anniversary is on Saturday so we are going to burn up the town celebrating both then.

I have to say, I feel more than a year older after all the crises this past year. But as “they” say, the first 74 years are the toughest. Lol

A bit of good news: I had a follow-up visit with the orthopedic surgeon this morning. There are signs of callous building at the femur fracture site so I can relax a little. I am going to try transferring in-out of my van seat in the next week or two. Not being able to drive has been a real loss. However, my arm/shoulder strength has taken a hit following the fracture, and I have to be very careful with the exercise because of my shoulder damage. Whether or not I am back in the driver’s seat is a 50, 50 possibility, at best.

I have full confidence you'll return to driving .. you know your body and not to push it too far or too slow and that is so important.

Happy Birthday!!! 74 spankings ... lol
Roses are red. Tacos are enjoyable. Don't blame immigrants, because you're unemployable.

Found this to be a very amusing typo, considering what chili usually does to me....

A very happy belated birthday to a very inspirational guy!

With your zeal and zest...you will be doing burnouts in the van soon, I have no doubts.

Sorry I missed this but Happy Birthday and Thanksgiving and Anniversary.
