Les sorry to hear. I hope both you and Andy have started a place for good memories in your heart.

    Prayers for all...

I found myself pouting like a petulant child last Friday.

Me (staring down full length of fully snub nose, at my father, with his background in both law and banking-"Well, I'd much rather have YOU than any stupid annuity."

Nobody can push your buttons like a parent. And I will be LOST without him..

It feels like every such loss requires yet another deep, thorough probe into WHO I am. I'm not sure I exist without them!

The positive thinkers call this "A journey of self-discovery." To me, it feels like "Another 65 rounds with Rum, Sodomy and the Lash".

But I survived, as humans nearly always do.

Bent, bloody and nearly broken, we will wheel into our own personal "parking space". At that time we will probably each trigger somebody to begin their very own "Journey of Self-Discovery". (Or 65 rounds w/ Rum, Sodomy and the Lash.)

I wish you both full, unconditional healing, just like that parental love we never ever find again.
