I learned that you may be able to deduct legal expenses for pursuing discrimination claims. It seems like it might be only against any income recovered, although I can't really tell. Publication 17 says this generally. I get referred to both pubs 529 and 525 (erroneously, I think), but I can't find details anywhere. Other information web sites I found are not specific enough either

I guess I should make sure: Would violation of the ADA be considered " discrimination?"

I work for the State, if that makes any difference. This is for 2010 (I'm a little behind schedule).
