Please forgive me if this is not the appropriate forum for this question (it's not about a cure as such, but I don't see what other forum would be more suitable). I am trying to track down an article about a surgeon in California (I think) who carried out peripheral nerve rerouting surgery on a person with chronic cervical SCI several months ago. I believe I read about it here but remember few details other than that the operation was to restore hand function and that it would not be possible to evaluate the full extent of its success for two years, given the time it would take for the nerves to regenerate. Can anyone lead me to the article or give me an update? Thanks.
