Badly want to win my company's Halloween Costume contest

So, I'm a C-6 complete with above average arm/shoulder strength.

For five years now, I've been watching my co-workers snag the $500 best costume prize at my company on Halloween. I have avoided entering the contest due to the many logistical issues that I would have to deal with. But, I am tired of watching my co-workers snag the $500 prize and want to win it all this year.

Need your help/suggestions on a winning costume that addresses the following issues:
    1. does not take 2 hours to put on
    2. since I drive, does not impede with my driving
    3. does not interfere with intermittent cathing when I need to go
    4. doesn't interfere with my ability to do my work (which is primarily inside an office)

Any thoughts/ideas on proven winning entries?

    Hi "felieh,"
Take a look at this website, there are some good costume ideas:

For more ideas (you will be surprised how many websites you will find) do an internet search with the following terms, "Halloween costumes for wheelchairs."

Good luck with the contest. Remember to come back and post your winning costume idea (pictures) here!!!

    All the best,

I went as a Mac Truck once. Cut the cab out of cardboard and painted it up.

My friend was a toilet...was pretty funny...but I do not know how long it took to put on...I like the truck idea too.

I considered going as a mermaid (think Bette Midler) with an air swimmer tagging along, but then I remembered I'd get terribly cold in a coconut bra.

My favorite is the Short Bus, though it probably won't win any awards due to its questionable taste.

Wall-E might depending on your craftsmanship and attention to detail.

I've been waiting for years for a chance to dress up like a crash test dummy....
ideas - flexible dryer hose type silver pipe around neck to look like the spring that they have for necks
dress in a single colour jumpsuit
those yellow and black stickers on joints, sides of head etc.
maybe a shirt or something saying former/retired dummy...

my halloween involves carting kids from house to house, no parties so....

Thanks everyone. Some great ideas out there. A bunch of them are not practical since I drive and with those costumes, it would be impossible to get into my car, much less drive. Also, cathing would become a real problem. Anyhow, some good ideas and as always, thank you.
