    working with a non profit

    I'll be on a board of a new non profit (papers yet to be filed). I'm currently battling being ill but wanting to give all. If anyone has a site or thread I can view so I know they have their ducks in a row, I'd be grateful.

    You'll want to get a copy of the New York state legislation that details the legal and fiduciary responsibilities of non-profit board members (and officers, if you are going to be an officer).
