Hi,

I want to start using an upper body ergometer. I am in a wheelchair and
have limited use of my legs. So, I need to use the ergometer for my aerobic
workout.

I have good upper body strength, but I am very fatigued after just 5 minutes(without rest) when doing the ergometer.
Does anyone have an idea about how to pace myself to build endurance?

And, are there any workout plans for ergometers? Should I aim for time or distance while exercising?

I must add that my ergometer doesn't have a feature to calculate
distance.
