I am a c5/6 I would not reccommend this if my life depended on it. This cushion only lasted a few weeks b4 my skin hated it. Be careful Angus, watch your skin with this cushion!

Sorry to hear that, but thanks for the info. What didn't you like about it? Did the Gel break down?

I have not heard a single good long term report on the Otto Bock Cloud cushion. I have heard of lots of skin breakdown. Do be careful.

I like the concept behind tose Ridedesigns cushions but they look high. I cannot stand sitting on something higher than my Tempur 2" cushion (as an example, I found the Varilite Zoid 2.5" thick a little too high even without air in it!). Could I sit as low as on my Tempur on a Ridedesigns? How much are they ($) and how do they get to fit it for you if you live in Canada (Montreal)?

I used a ride for several year, and loved it until I lost weight. The ride is custom fit to the butt so when I lost weight it was useless. It's not cheap, so I went back to my Roho.

Varilite meridian. Good combination of foam and air. Two valves to adjust front and rear sections. Open both valves once per week when off (night) to allow cushion to fill and foam to "remember" its shape. After adjusting the valves they stay the way you set them even when you transfer off. I've had gel. Too heavy IMO.
