How can any drug or therapy reverse or fix necrosis of the spinal cord? Older injured spinal cords are dead at injury sight. You would not only need new nerve cells but a large chunk of spinal cord matter ( tissue.)
I just cannot see how this barrier can be overcome. I mean this tissue resembles the inside of a rotted banana from the medical books I've read.
So how does the actual physical integrity of the spinal cord long injured be restored?
