    Quake

I was sitting at my computer desk here in Aiken, SC and felt the quake. My power chair rocked a bit and the desk top moved. I called to my wife in an other part of the house, but she did not feel anything.

It shook us pretty good here in southern VA too, near the NC border. We all hit the exits here at work. Hearing news from my house that my foundation is cracked, YIKES@

Very noticeable here on Long Island - side-to-side surface waves, long duration - really pretty cool (once I realized that the house was not going to collapse)

Actually, for the first few seconds I thought my legs were spazzing out - then I noticed the whole house was doing the same!

My house was shaking and rolling back and forth here in southern NJ. My house phone and cell are still not working.

Felt it here in New York City; stronger than most other earthquakes I've experienced here, just about average for the almost daily earthquakes I experienced living in Japan. Sure confused the cat, though.

The Indian's announcers felt it in the press box. Haven't heard of any injuries so far.
