    Lump in My Thigh

This morning while doing range of motion, my caregiver pointed out a lump in my thigh, something I've never had before. She describes it as firm and it's at the 11 o'clock position, slightly on the upper outside. No dysreflexia, so I doubt if it would be painful. It's about 5 inches long, 3 inches wide. I'm waiting for a call back from my GP before heading to hospital emergency.

Yesterday was a very hot and humid day in Vancouver. I was at the sailing center and soon overheated, but nothing different than 100 other overheatings that I've experienced. The reason I mention it is that I was really pushing fluids, including one small Gatorade.
Another possibility is that while transferring into the boat I noticed that the sling was not as far under my butt as usual, and that the narrow part of the sling was under each thigh. If I could feel it, I'm sure that would be cutting into my leg.

Anyone else experienced a hard lump in the thigh?

I was on my way to emergency medicine at UBC when I realized that Bonnie the outpatient nurse at GF Strong Rehabilitation Center knew more than emergency room doctor. I went there instead and she said it may be a hematoma.
As soon as I got in the van and tilted back, I realized it was probably the belt buckle from the seatbelts. I had traveled back and forth to a seminar in the nearby city. The four hours of commuting was much more than I have done in years. I'm a transit user.

So far it's 5" x 3", slightly raised, no collar no warmth. I'll keep you posted

None. She said it should go away on its own. And today it did seem smaller, still without any discoloration.

I had a few hard lumps on the back of my legs. My doctor said it was from bashing them so much. They did eventually go away.
