    Thanks for the video.

    A few points:
    - music was distracting and not coordinated with exercise
    - I think it would help if movements matched the rhythm/beats
    - Counting and/or calling out the motions or steps would help allow people to follow without having to watch the video throughout, so focus can be on the movements themselves and body position

    Thanks for the feedback
For YouTube - I have to use "royalty free" music unless I want to buy the rights to a song... the real routines are done to more mainstream songs, and the movements are a little more coordinated.
I also take requests for songs! But again - not for YouTube videos.

Great idea. I've actually searched for something like this in the past. Pricing is a bit too steep for me, but best of luck to you. I'll spread the word.

Thank you for helping get the word out I'd love any suggestions of ways for me to spread the word as well.

I've gotten a couple of emails about the price... I'm not trying to break anyone's bank, but here is how I came up with $25/month
    - My overhead aside, I made the price less than most gyms, and equal to the cheapest local adaptive gym.
    - There are 8-10 new routines, so the cost per class is about $3. The videos are always available, so you could workout more often and it is more cost effective.
    - There is no contract. You pay for the months you want access.
    - Most importantly, I wanted to make the cost affordable, but also not cheap enough that it's easier to skip the workout! I want people to be motivated to stick with their routine and less likely to say "I can skip this week"

I think that 25 a month is not bad at all. It's nice to have a program dedicated and designed by someone who actually understands the limitations and challenges of a person with SCI. Most trainers don't have specific training in this and often design workouts that are not ideal for the wheelchair user. For instance with weight training, a person like me (T6 para) who propels in a manual chair regularly daily and am very active, I have stopped doing any weight training for the shoulders. They are already under enough stress and I feel get enough workout simply by the amount of propelling and transferring.

I would strongly suggest to add a blog to your site. And then keep it updated, several times per week. If you have something new to say, it will keep traffic returning and be more likely to attract unique visitors.
Like I said, I had searched for a service like yours in the past but came up empty. I don't know if you have any or much competition right now, but I would also work towards generating a media blitz. Get your press release polished and snail mail, email, fax every media outlet you can possibly reach. Get interviewed, provide a good info package to allow for articles to be written on you and your service. If you build it, they will come.
Your site is descent, however it would serve you better to step up to web 2.0 and get social. Facebook Fan Page, Twitter, Flickr etc. Those old style sites are pretty antiquated and won't hold visitors attention for long. You're fighting for face time. Make the most of the viewers time you get.
Of course, this is all my humble opinion. Do with it what you like.

Mike - all of that sounds fantastic!! Thank you They don't teach marketing in PT school... I am taking an evening class this fall, so hopefully that will help me get some of those balls rolling (i.e. I don't even know what a press release is!)

My website was built by a friend (because I also don't know much about that either...) so I will talk to her about upgrading to 2.0. I have written blogs for other sites, so I will also ask her about adding them as a feature on my own site - great idea!

I actually do have a Facebook page:
    http://www.facebook.com/pages/SCI-To...32879546773193
but I haven't started a Twitter yet. I will put that on my "to do" list.

    Thank you so much!!

You're quite welcome. If there's anything I can think of that may be of help, I'll be sure to share it with you. I think you're doing great already by the way. I just thought those suggestions my help you to get to the next level. But the important thing is that you're actually doing it. Also, posting on forums like this one is a great marketing technique. Just be careful not to cross the line into spamming. Some people get their panties in a bunch if they feel someone is posting on their forum for the sole purpose of generating traffic. Don't stop posting, just make sure you keep the posts helpful, insightful and not specifically about driving traffic to your site/videos and you'll be fine.

BTW: You can check out this site to learn about composing your own press release. I'm sure you'll probably get to it in class, but if you want to you can read up on it here.
