BACKGROUND: As part of the Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North

America's annual meeting in Minneapolis, Sister Kenny

Rehabilitation Institute will be offering demonstrations of

new technologies and advancements in treatments and

therapies, including:

-- CosmoBot(TM), a robot designed to help children with

disabilities integrate therapy, learning and play

developed by Cori Lathan, PhD, recently named one of the

-- Virtual reality driving simulator

-- EMG biofeedback system, which uses signals from muscle

contractions to help patients strengthen or relax muscles

-- Telerehabilitation demonstrations using a complete range
