    I don't know the answer to that - but I too read that the MS Society put 1 mill aside which I didn't think was enough.

    And I doubt that the foundation actually has $245 mill in their pockets anymore ... there are stories of people on this very site getting $8000 or $10,000 or more for different quality of life services. Each community donating during the Wheels in Motion event received so many thousands back to start something in their community (in ours it was a wheelchair basketball rec league).
