Thread: rubber gloves not covered by insurance??

  1. #11
It is really puzzling what they will and won't pay for. Our good work insurance would not pay for gloves. The nursing home waiver program through our state does cover them.
I found the cheapest ones at Sam's Club. There is a place in town where hospitals donate supplies and I'd get gloves there when they had them.

when i was using gloves for cathing they would pay for 2 boxes a month. do you think i could have my doctor write that on the script even though that's not what they're going to be used for?
