    gardening help?

i love to have a garden every year in my backyard, but after my injury i have a few concerns for next season, the watering and such is no problem, but i can bend down far enough down to plant the plants or to pick the plants that grow low to the ground, and another concern is moving my chair in the soft dirt, any help tips or advice??

Consider raised beds or container gardening, and installing some solid or at least firmer paths around them. Here are a couple of ideas:

Also, get one of Mel Bartholmew's (sp?) books on "Square Foot Gardening". It'll will help with what and how to plant in the limited area.

    lovely.
I tried to start a community garden, but so far no land has been designated. Maybe next year after another letter to the owner. this year only my juniper bonsi and my moms cactus are growing in my patio. last year chili peppers and tomato plants.

I'll let you know how I'm going to do it. Will be planting at least an acre or so garden next year to sell produce. I have an idea to build a low-pro go-kart type thing to ride in next to my rows. All rows will be at least 36" wide or however wide the tiller is on the garden tractor. Weeds shouldn't be a problem (hopefully if we get my idea figured out)

Those pictures are nice. Too bad everything costs so much.......
If you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

they do look nice, but the same thing can be accomplished with some plastic totes from walmart..just drill a couple holes in the bottom for drainage.. find some old patio table, and cut holes in it to seat the totes.. I bet some people could get creative just doing that..
