    BBQ sauce

I want to make a homemade BBQ sauce and I am hoping a few of you chefs might be willing to share your secret recipe.

One of the main reasons, besides the fun of making it, is my godson has Celiac disease and I want to make a sauce that he can enjoy. He loves homemade stuff.

    Thanks
    Oopy

All Sweet Baby Rays sauces are gluten free. I have several sauce recipes but not sure which ones are gluten free. I will have to look into this.

Thanks all, I forgot to mention that my godson also has diabetes.

I am really looking for a receipt though and not a product to buy. I can switch the ingredients to make it gluten free and diabetes acceptable. I am really looking for a guideline to follow regarding spices and such.

Sorry, but Sweet Baby Ray's, although delicious, gave my intestines the business. For true Celiac awareness, I present...

Mostly beef steaks and hamburger, I do cook a lot of pork ribs also. I have no problem making a couple different sauces, one for beef and one for pork.

I have a Treger smoker and I have been dry rubbing everything lately, but I miss using BBQ sauce. Kraft has a gluten free/diabetic acceptible sauce we use, but its just not the same as homemade.

Here is a list of gluten free commercial BBQ sauces.

Here is a book I use for my sauce recipes. I have used these sauces as a base for some of my sauces. You could modify these recipes for your needs pretty easily.

    I hope this helps.
