    Student Research

Hello, my name is Stefani Polifrone and I am a student at Ramapo College of New Jersey. I am currently conducting research involving acquired physical disability and its interaction with identity. It is my hope that in studying these domains, I might be able to add to the growing body of knowledge in the field of rehabilitation and therapy, which could help facilitate greater outcomes for doctors, therapists, and patients during and after the rehabilitation process.

I am writing to invite you, as an individual with an acquired physical disability, to participate in my research by filling out a brief questionnaire, which should take about 15-20 minutes to complete. Your participation in the study is completely voluntary, you may choose to leave questions blank, and can opt to leave the study at any point. Due to the personal nature of the research at hand, it is important to emphasize that any identifying features of individual responses will remain anonymous. These questions may bring up emotional topics, but it is believed that there is no risk to participating in the study, and the knowledge that you can contribute will be beneficial to the field of rehabilitation.

If you choose to participate in the present study, please click on the following link (or copy and paste it into your web browser): http://atrial.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_9SLtq7cea6GHsCU The questionnaire will require that you provide consent before beginning, and following completion of the questionnaire, you will receive confirmation that your answers have been submitted.

If you have any further questions regarding this research, feel free to contact me at spolifro@ramapo.edu

It is a requirement of our site that posts such as this soliciting research participants include the contact information for the Human Subjects/Institutional Review Board overseeing the study, including a contact person with phone number for filing of complaints. Please include this informaiton.

I have also moved this to our Surveys forum, which is the only forum where we allow such posts.

The survey specifically stated "study men" - so female participants are not included?
