Monarch Mark 1a VS MPD classic 3500 hand control

Monarch Mark 1a VS MPD classic 3500 hand control, which is the best?

I somehow find that the MPD mechanism design is very tight, and quiet troublesome to install. And a lot of flex too.

I have 3 sets of Monarchs, the set I currently use are the original set that are 18 yrs old. They function as new. I don't know anything about other brands of hand controls.

I just put in monarchs in my one ton truck. I wanted something very stable because it takes a fare amount of pressure for the breaks. This is my first foray into hand controls. I find the monarchs very solid.

Hi GL, I am using the MPD classic 3500, somehow I find that the mechanism does not really fit into right driving seat and right hand control. I don't like the MPD, too much clamp, causing a lot of flex.
