Thread: Surelock black disc

    Surelock black disc

Just went to the Surelock web site and discovered that they now (finally!) offer their disc hubs in black. Pretty sharp looking.

You'd think with all the referrals I've made that I would get a heads up email or something . . . but no.

Please post pics more little lol, i don`t think is sharp in black, anyway i wouldn`t go for the black disc, the black anodized will come out in holes with the time.

This is a sharp disc, a titanium nitrade disc with only 38 grames, incredible but true. Ready for install them in the T50

Very nice. One thing I've noticed with the black anodized D's rings is that they get pretty scratched up on the frame side and some in the holes. Some purists may question the wisdom (or vanity?!?) of coating something which, by design, is going to be marred up...but I like them.

Here is what my black anodized D's Lock rings look like after 3 years. Not too bad.

About what you'd expect. Not too bad at all.

Are the costs of SureLocks comparable to D's?

Other than more holes in the disk (I assume that makes for a more stable stop) - does it rock like the D's? What is it in particular that makes you prefer them over D's, Stephen? Sorry if you've answered this before.
