    Any paras with colostomy???

3 years of no bp that will work. My husband has about had it. We were talking to a friend that has a T 10 injury and he said he doesnt know any paras that have a colostomy? Just wondering if that is a good option for him?

Lots of paras have colostomies. If nothing else works, he should look into it. He should also study up on it, read all the related posts here, before he decides. Seems most everyone likes theirs after the first initial settling in period. Good luck.

I am a t-10 with a colostomy. I had a temp colostomy done so that I could complete 12 weeks of bedrest from another surgery. I love it so much that I decided to keep it. Easy to manage and provides great peace of mind.

Describe -- no, detail -- what your family's (particularly your husband's) daily menu looks like. What's going in?

There are tons of threads discussing th e pros and cons. Post back if you have trouble finding them, and I will search a few out for you.

I did the same thing, but as soon as I discovered disposable bags and seal rings, I didn't even think about having it reversed. It is such a relief not to have to worry, when going any where.
