    tummy trouble...

Help!! Is there something else I can do to make this constant agony in my stomach go away?? I have been taking dicloxcillan orally for 5 months now (since they took me off IV antibiotics) I take the acidophilus like i am supposed to and i eat a lot of yogurt but i still vomit all th time and feel like there is nothing in my belly but acid. I am so very tired of running to the bathroom to puke every time i eat a meal..and it makes me miss therapy because i get dehydrated...any advice?

Talk to your doctor ASAP! He should know what you are going through. There may not be a recourse, but you don't know that until you ask.CKF

It does sound like you need to be evaluated for this...your stomach could be the problem, but there might be gallbladder issues or something else involved. You've suffered long enough, time to get to the bottom of what's causing your discomfort so that you can deal with it and feel better!

When I was this way, I found out I had Gastroparesis. Basically, your whole digestive system slows down, inc. your bowel. You vomit because there's no room. A GI test can be done to see if things are slow.

Try avoiding dairy, red meat & high fiber stuff. These all take too long to digest.

More importantly, SEE a Gastroenterologist familiar w/ sci's asap!
