    Quickie s646 se

I have found a brand new chair at a reasonable price. The serial number is S64-042070 http://secure.sunrisemedical.com/jsp...ry_catalog.jsp
My hips are exactly 18 inches and so is the chair - it says that it is 18x18, my question is - is there any possibility to widen the seat or get more depth - is this adjustable???
    thanks

There really is no adjustment. The only thing that I can think of doing is getting the next size cushion, which I believe would be 20" and then having some kind of spacers fabricated to shim out the armrests, as they are about the only things that'll limit the seat width on the 646.

Thanks Rusty James, I was thinking of putting some kind of a racing seat...

The armrest receivers bolt to the outside of the seat rail, so the distance between them is probably closer to 19" It may be possible to move the back posts as well. Of course it doesn't have a seat pan or any back upholstery

    True.

I measured my armrest receivers and they add 1 more inch of room to the seat pan width. Quickie 646se

thanks guys, i fit in the chair perfectly. I only need to purchase a backrest for it. The leg rests that came with it are not the original ones, does anyone know where to buy the original ones?
also can anyone recommend a good backrest, my buddy has a matrx pb elite and he likes it
