We need to get burgerman out of his bedroom and into a garage at least. What a blessing that would be for our folks. We desperately need someone with big bucks that could help him and us out. His website is absolutely fabulous and just to see and understand the possibilities, O well. Hope is supposedly eternal.

I need one of those programmers. I searched but I can not turn anything up.

    C 5/6 Comp.
    No Tri's or hand function.

not taken personally but it did have an impact upon looking at my life and the struggle it is. Maybe having a small power chair , no, not maybe, but, yes, a PC would add more dimension to my life now and as I get old ;-) I'm a long way off from picking out the right PC. I want a small foot print, it should recline, go fast, and operate pretty good on rough ground. Not a jungle, but outdoors off the cement.
    Thanks for the pointers.

just one more comment: i absolutely require flip up armrests on my power chair. and i mean the manual chair flip ups, not the usual powerchair big ass armrests. quickie (sunrise medical) engineering has accommodated this customized request since 1996 thru 3 chairs. invacare wouldn't even discuss it.

so my 3 chairs, p200, p222 and p222se all had/have quickie manual chair armrests. i can post pic if this interests anybody.

If you need a programmer check e-bay, theres usually a few for sale and one guy rents them for $50 with a $200 deposit.

No, I've never had to do anything like that. I've been caught in pretty big rain storms and never had an issue. I've had some drainage issues with my house that I've had resolved and while I was trying to "debug" the situation I would go out in the rain to see how the water was flowing down my sidewalks. I had on a poncho, but the controller was always out with my hand on top to drive. I never even thought about covering it up. I may have just been lucky (rarely happens ), but my controller seems pretty water reistent to me. I hate that you've had a different experience.
