    You should be behind a NAT Router, e.g. Linksys, D-Link, Belkin. Turn on your software firewall. Make sure Automatic Updates is turned on.

    the version of malwarebites on my pc that he had installed is not working (file infected by W32/Blaster.worm- which is what it says when I try to use anything, my regular browser, solitare, anything.) as instructed in the link's instructions, but I can't find a free version...

    we'll see how long it lasts, but it's currently running good, unfortunately, I jacked up my sub and speakers in the process.

    make sure you re-install the virus wcanner, i believe you downloaded from microsft
