    complete or incomplete

    my husband has a fusion from c5 to t5 with a T3 injury the worst break. how do you know the diference between a complete injury and an incomplete?

    Not all spinal (vetebral or disc) injuries result in damage to the spinal cord. A complete or complete injury refers to the spinal cord damage, not to the fracture/dislocation or other bony injury. If he has neurological deficits due to this spinal injury, they could be either due to either peripheral nerve or spinal cord damage or both.
