Thread: I just bought a motorcycle again!

  1. #1

    I just bought a motorcycle again!

    Its a Sportster trike, far from my first choice pre-injury, but it'll do for now. I've got a guy working on putting all the controls in arms reach.

    Anybody got a good idea for how to stash a ZRA securely to the back of a trike?

    That's the next problem I've got to work out.

    I will throw some pics on here when I get a chance to snap some.

    Cool Dude! I'm not on my first choice either, but hey, gettin' back in the wind is worth a little trade off.

    Don't have any good suggestions, but you could try getting in touch with this guy for an idea;

    www.freebirdcustommotorcycles.com

    His name is Rick and he has been building h/c trikes for decades now, his wife is a para and she has ridden a Shovelhead trike forever. Tell him McDuff from Austin sent ya, I rode with them for years "back when".

    Congratulations. The Freedom Machine shown on www.freebirdcustommotorcycles.com is owned by a CareCure member here in CT. Google "canam spyder wheelchair". There are a lot of para's riding these because you can get them with electronic shift right from the factory.
    Enjoy

    Good to hear someone going back

    That's great. More info!

    I may have to put a lightweight car on my R100gs to get me back in the outback.

    That's awesome funklab! I'm pretty jealous to be honest.
