    Customized Unitine forks.

    Hi guys.

Time ago, Oracing gave me a pair of unitine forks like a gift for a little job i did to them, but i didn`t put them in my chair because i don`t really love them and because they weighed more than mines.
But i decided to customized them a bit and try to get their weight down and here is the result.
To the fork i just sand all the squares and gave a polished, and i changed the unitine fork stem that despite they was drilled still heavy compared with the aluminium stems forks that i have, and i decided to do the same stem fork but in aluminium 2024(usually used for CNC) but with the double of thickness wall than unitine stem forks.

I keep exactly the same FSH.

The result is that i save total 112 grames compared with the unitine when they was new and they are a bit cooler imo.

Here are the pics for you can see everything.

upps, sorry, in the pic where i`m weigthing the customized fork there isn`t the stem nut, so to the 98 grames we will have to add around 10-15 grames of the nut.

I don`t think that is really important here, but if you are really interesting i will tell you, was a polished work to a pair of forks for a basket chair that they was going to ship to their German dealer for an Expo.
