Any pic to put up yet? I'm interested in checking them out. Any tips for newbies? I'm hittin the slopes for my first since post accident in a few weeks here in NC. I know I need to pick up some sort of winter boots any thoughts. I was a snowboarder before so I have everything else. I know its not gonna be the same, but really looking forward to getting back on the hill.

fuentejps, how many years have you been sit skiing?

I went up once when I was still at rehab but was frustrated by not having the triceps to ski independently. I could link a couple turns together, but once I lost the perfect balance, I couldn't catch myself from tipping over. Then once I was down I couldn't push myself back up.

is that just something you get used to, or are you able to get up independently?

strong shoulders, perfect setup and lots of practice. for us higher quads w/out tri's the bi unique is the ski to run. im still tethered but my instructor doesnt do much, some speed control when i really get moving. ill try to get pics sunday.
