We got close to 2 feet in central Connecticut, some parts of the state got hit more. It was pretty heavy at times, at one point this morning, I could not see the fence from my bedroom window .... and we have a VERY small yard!

Glad I didn;t have to go anywhere today.

We had around eight inches of snow on Monday which is a lot for this area. Probably had another inch fall today and the next two days are going to be in the 20's for the highs so it won't be melting. I live on a rural route they just cleared our road tonight and today is the first day the mail carrier delivered mail.

Hope everyone up north stays safe and keeps their power.

Still the same weather with snow in the streets, -5C, 23F and it is going to snow tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. Next week they say sun but not over zero degrees so the snow is not going to melt. That is our typical winter weather. I hope they clean the streets so I at least can drive.

Snow. Amount 5 to 10 cm. Wind up to 15 km/h. High minus 21. Cold wind chill minus 34. Risk of frostbite

Last week I was saying how glad I was to live where we expect snow from November-March and are prepared for it so that everything isn't chaos when we get 2 inches. Today some of those places sound pretty nice!

Brrrrr Emi!! I was just complaining about our temps ..... high of 20F (-7C) and a low of 3F night (-20C). Looks like out low tonight is your HIGH today. Yikes!

It is sunny today, and not much wind at least. Like Bente says tho, the snow won;t melt at these temps, guess it is here to stay for a bit.

It is not supposed to get as cold as predicted this week-end.
My daughter and her bf headed to SD later today. I worry about the icy roads.

A couple to a few more inches of snow, sleet predicted for tonight into tomorrow, sigh.

    I am dreaming of summer.
