It looks like the rain from Andrea has let up at least for a while. We only have gotten about 1.5 inches here so far. No notable wind. Seems to have been a nice rain. I have not seen any reports of damage near the coast.

Weather history made in South Carolina today. Snow covered much of the state from Columbia westward this morning. This is the earliest it has snowed in the state since records have been kept. At my house right now it is 40 degrees, rainy and windy. A good day for chili and football on TV.

Cool, rainy, and raw in Western Mass today. I stayed inside and caught up with chores and then downloaded a book on the Kindle and read for a couple of hours.

    Cool thread

It was sunny and cool, today.
At 7 am, a neighbor helped me put my handcycle on the car rack. My hands were hurting with the cold.
    I like this thread.
Nothing heavy! Kind of like the weather channel.

Winter is here to stay. Starting early yesterday morning it snowed 16 inches with strong north and northwest winds with chill factors of below zero. Actual temps are around +20 for highs with lows around +5. It put a lid on my deer hunting and we'll be looking at this crap until at least March or April. I envy you folks in the warmer climates, enjoy!!!

Us folks in "warmer" climates had snow on November 1st. Nothing to envy here. Fortunately it did melt before the day was over. I do hope you get a long Indian summer up there, even in Lake Wobegone.
