I've read the first couple volumes, great stuff. The show is awesome, can't wait for season 2.

Kind of makes you want to go out and buy a crossbow, doesn't it?

It's a great weapon against zombies.

Woo, saw the first episode today with my bf, and we both think it's looking great. Unlike the zombies. Eek.

Where are the accents from though? I found I was having to make an effort to understand what people were saying. I found the accents quite hard to understand at times.
How is Andrew Lincoln's accent? I know he's a Brit.

The accents are Southern U.S. for the most part. It takes place in Georgia, in the heart of the South. The accents aren't over-the-top or real heavy, but I can see how you might have trouble understanding some of them, not living in the U.S.

Lincoln does a good job with his accent.

    Thank you Scorpion!
I thought Lincoln sounded good, but it's good to have someone who would really know (an American!) say so.

If I ever visit Georgia, I'm going to need to hire an interpreter. jk.

I saw the second episode last night. ZOM...BIE. I mean, ZOMG! It was great.

First thing I thought was ...'crossbow is slow. you gotta blow their brains up!'

But then the gun shot would attract all the other and then you'll be up shit creek!

What we need in case of a zombie invasion is an automatic crossbow!
And.... stock up on ammo silencers!

Keps, I'm American and I have trouble understanding some of the real country (hillbilly) accents.

Great show.. just makes me think it's time to get medieval on them.. put on some armour and helm, pick up a shield and a war hammer with the spike or the two handed flail.
Can't get bitten if you've got on a good kit.. simple 40lb bow can do loads of damage close up.. I've got my zombie survival gear ready..
