    Hey folks!

Is there someone on the forum who does programming with Visual Basic that can help me? If you can, let me know and I will go into further detail...

    Thanks!

I did some VB and a lot of other people too so just throw the question and you'll probably get help.
Don't ask what clinical trials can do for you, ask what you can do for clinical trials.

I had a computer science assignment where I had to have computer generate a random number and then the user had to guess it. I programmed us if then else statements and had a counter programmed the same way.. I was told I could have used a for loop for a counter and I tried but.. I failed haha. Also my teacher said I could have had a start over game, what code would have been needed in the button to do that?

    Thanks!!

Let me see if I understand you.

You are creating a game where the computer generates a random number (from 1 to 10?, 1 to 100 ?, ???). The user is then challenged to pick the number. The user receives a reply indicating if they are correct or not. They can then try again. Is this correct?

Does the computer keep track of the number of attempts?

Is this being programmed as a winform or as a web page?

    StarLord,

I sent you a PM but it is a number between 1 and 10. User has ten guesses to get it right and each time they guess, they get a hint.. to high, to low. The computer is supposed to keep track of the guesses which is where I had a problem because it was suggested I use a For Loop as the counter and it didn't work when I tried.

This was programmed as a winform.
