    Organic substitute for Baclofen

    Damiana!

A friend of mine recommended I try it as baclofen no longer seems to work for me, and oddly enough...it worked!!!! I take 2 in the morning and 2 at night. No more bouncy feet or cramp tightness when I move after sitting for an hour. Fantastic!

Anyone else heard of it being used for spasms?

Interesting...damiana is typically used as an aphrodisiac. Glad it helps with your spasms. I so relate to what you say about bouncy feet and tightness after sitting. Sometimes I put off standing up because I dread the rigor mortis effect of getting on my feet.

    Which brand are you using?
    and 2 at what quantity?

Sounds like it'll be worth trying.

didnt work for me. baclofen messes with my blood sugar. sometimes smokage works. I just use flexeril for tightness and deal with the spasm and clonus, but sometimes its annoying or embarrassing. glad my spasms are not too bad most of the time. just after exercise and when I lounge around before bed. mmmmand after nookie I might fold up like a lawn chair sometimes.

can you provide more info on Damiana? maybe a link to some literature on it? I'm not familiar with it, but would like to read some about it. Where do you get it from? a vitamin/supplement store, head shop, organic grocier?

1 week. and yes. baclofen does nothing for me (unless I take it with another downer like vicodines, xanaflex, valium). which is why I was on the hunt for something that might work and is less harmful.

Everyones different, I'm very incomplete and very hypersensitive, which is why any little movement causes spasms. very annoying. only downers can control it, but most downers make you fatigue and drowsy. very difficult when you're a walker and trying to maintain much needed strength, balance and concentration.
