Danielle Rice’s background and credentials pave the way for
insurance coverage for ADAPT Advanced clientele

BEAVERTON, OR -- Oct 2010 -- Beaverton, Oregon based ADAPT Advanced has hired Danielle Rice,
DPT as Neuro Physical Therapist. Rice will serve in a managerial position with ADAPT Advanced, a
division of ADAPT Training, which works with individuals with spinal cord injuries and neuro-muscular
conditions including stroke, MS and Parkinson’s. Rice’s credentials and background make working with
insurance seamless for all ADAPT Advanced clients.

Danielle comes to ADAPT with a vast experience in orthopedic and neuromuscular therapies. She
attended Northeastern University where she obtained an undergraduate degree in rehabilitation science
and a doctorate in Physical Therapy.

The ADAPT Advanced therapeutic training system is based on the Five Fundamentals of Movement
and 10 Stages of Adaptation. It is a neuromuscular re-education program based upon the principle that by
consistently providing all aspects of the human body with an optimal environment, individual recovery
goals can be achieved. Rice’s introduction to ADAPT was a fitness class that impressed her. “The
workout was completely balanced, working the entire body with unique and innovative
exercises. Following the workout I felt better than I am used to feeling post-workout.
Discovering that ADAPT applies their whole body training approach to the Advanced
clientele excited me – I knew that this was where I needed to be. The training and
therapy that I have witnessed at ADAPT is unparalleled to anything I have ever
experienced. I am so excited to be a part of this groundbreaking approach to
neuromuscular re-education”, said Rice.

Rice’s passion for neuromuscular re-education came from real life experience. When she was in high
school, a dance teammate was involved in a car accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Through
working with her friend during an extensive rehabilitation process she discovered her passion for
neuromuscular therapies which is now evident in both her personal and professional lives. Most recently
she became a Wheelchair Basketball Classifier for the National Wheelchair Basketball Association.

ADAPT Advanced sees the addition of Rice as a major coup and a historical step in growing the business
and serving clients. “Danielle is a one-of-a-kind specialist. We strive to find individuals
who are as passionate about the work that they do and the clientele that they serve as
we are. She is a perfect match. Her experience and motivation are sure to be a
positive addition to our team,” said ADAPT founder Brian Cassidy.

ADAPT Training was founded in 1999 by Brian Cassidy. A football standout and Stanford graduate,
Cassidy used his own injuries and education in human development to create a therapeutic training
system that optimizes neuromuscular function. In 2008 ADAPT Advanced began working with
individuals seeking recovery options for their neurological disorders and spinal cord injuries. ADAPT
Advanced exists to provide the optimal environment to help individuals Achieve Beyond Expectations.
