Dont know how much years we will have to wait for breakthrough yet.

USA was big hope for breakthrough but lack of funding in this government and ban on embryonic cells in previous government delayed all research and US went few years back.

maybe. 9 years ago I was told 5-10 years. Sure glad I didn't pin all my hopes and dreams on that.

2010 has been a great year for moving SCI research into possible treatments, a lot of exiting things has happened and are happening, -its just a matter of paying attention, seeing it and helping to move it forward.

Jawaid, I'm hoping that China or any country that allows advancement of stem cell therapies will fill the void of the USA. Hopeing that the elections won't be hurdle to Wise's plans in the USA in the beginning of 2011. The trend is irreversible in my opion for treatments, indluding embryonic stem sell treatments. The problem most chronics have is the time between discussion and actual apprvoed treatment. As I've said a day is like a lifetime for news to occurr. Anyway, my hope and prayers is that the human trials will conclude that improvement is possible and perhaps walking will be attainable.

    keeping on

Screw walking. I just want enough movement back to be truly independent.

There are no breakthroughs, things only come from clinical trials and that takes years and years and more years.
