This phase 1 trial is purely a saftey study, this trial is blazing a trail for all future embryonic stem cell trails/treatments for all diseases. "Fixing" an SCI is not a priority at this point, the treatment has to be safe first.

We owe Geron a debt of gratitude for staying the course with this and for the 10's of millions they have invested in this science. I hear they have treated 2 people so far......

Suddenly there are a few companies worth investing in, GERN, ACTC, BCLI, KOOL etc. The question is which are the better, stronger companies, which will survive.

I truly believe something good will come from all the upcomming trials. I really believe that all these companies hold a piece of the puzzle?
