People driving power chairs use a joystick all the time. But, I wonder how people feel about driving a car with a joystick?

What do you do if you have to pick up a date in that car? Does she sit on your lap

I want that car. Steering wheels are sooo overrated... I was lucky enough in my past to get the opportunity to drive a concept car once many years ago (albeit only around a test lot, no high speed (> 60mph)) with a stick control and it was so natural and simple instead of two pedals (or three) and a wheel. I honestly can't believe it hasn't happened yet accept for the federal limit on manual connections for things like steering boxes (no full hydro steering on street vehicles for example, we run into this a lot with the rock crawlers and such). But with the new drive by wire stuff, perhaps it will get lax enough that we can do it. I would absolutely LOVE it!

Can it seat two (at least)?

heck if that's legal to drive on the road, then so should 4-wheelers, golf carts, and polaris rangers. looks like a fancy golf cart, can you get upgrade electric motors at the hobby store?
