Petition to get funding back for Keck Center from NJ State

    Hey everyone,

I just started a petition on Change.org titled "Tell NJ to Give Back the $1 from Traffic Fines to the Disabled ". This is the funding that was stolen from the Keck Center when Governor Christie made budget cuts. Once we have 1,000 signatures the petition will go to Christie.

You can sign the petition in less than 30 seconds by clicking the link below:

sharon, it appers that funding is an issue we have to deal with now. Further out, it appears that if funding is an issue now, real therapies are even more distant. That's the way I see it now Hope to see more postive real news soon.

    keeping on

    SharonD,

Thanks for doing this. I would like to suggest one change in the language. The W. M. Keck Center for Collaborative Neuroscience has to compete for the funding. We are not "given" the money. All the spinal cord injury laboratories in the state compete for grants from the Commission. So, the goal is to restore spinal cord injury research funding to the state of New Jersey and not just to the W. M. Keck Center.

    Wise.
