Ya, when I had all my back surgeries with fusion my doc required me to stop NSAIDS for at least 6 months to a year after surgery to help aid the fusion. I got so used to not taking NSAIDS (4 surgeries in 3 years) that I still barely ever take Advil, I usually just use tylenol when needed.

Take real good care of yourself. You should be cautious of everything you do.

Whatever you do treat your neck. Head. Shoulders like a thin sheet of crystal

You do not want a sci.

Eat your vitamins. Get your rest. Check out hyperbaric chamber

That might help with the healing
Jerkens. Sorry for not replying to your post sooner. I thought I had it set up to email me when I got a response but I guess it didn't work. I am now almost 6 months post injury. I am curious as to why I should treat my head neck shoulders like glass. Of my four fracture sites only one is non-union. According to my spine specialist I am at no more a risk than someone who has had no injury at all. Basically he says I am free to return to normal activities if I can. I plan to as soon as I can get back in better shape physically.
