anyone know where you can get this green tea?

    HI guys!

So I was watching some shows on the travel channel and there was this tea house which was making green tea which was a long process but the tea looked amazing. The green tea was actually a powder it looked like and when they put it into the water it was SUPER GREEN.

Any idea what type of tea this was?

    Super green tea.

    thanks

Perhaps you were watching a traditional Japanese tea ceremony? The tea used for that is called matcha:

Just a heads up, Cory. I went to a tradition tea ceremony while I was in Japan and the stuff is potent!!! It's really quite strong and bitter, but the entire ceremony was beautiful. The Japanese women were dressed in these silk kimonos and we were surrounded by what I believe were plum tree blossoms.

You can definitly get it online, but I know down here in LA there are a number of Japanese grocery stores (even outside of Little Tokyo, like in West LA where I live) and they should have it.

The article says that this type of green tea has 300 times the antioxidant than a cup of normal green tea.

fountain of youth, anyone? fill a swimming pool with the stuff.

I like my tea like I like my women, bitter, powerful, and very green.

I just bought this stuff which was pretty pricey but good really good reviews:
    http://www.amazon.com/DoMatcha-Green...bxgy_gro_img_b

I hope it does the dishes in the morning for me
This one is about ~30 grams for 26 bucks

Anyone have experience with quality grade stuff? I heard the cheap stuff isn't worth buying because its quite bitter and sucks in a big way
