    well, even if I never agree with DA, I am glad he gets something positive out of this forum, and that someone misses him.

    mv, please avoid negative comments. DA is a welcome voice here.

    Last time I talked to him, he was doing fine. Still working while battling a pressure sore and the other joys of SCI life.

    shit disturbers are essential to life! keeps everyone on their toes and makes them reevaluate their stance on subjects. i remember da calling me a liberal...priceless! i'm not liberal, i just don't care! hope he's doing well.

    I love the first sentence. It is a good reminder to keep an open mind and see the other persons point.
    He called someone here a "liberal loon" which now I use as a term of endearment.

    i used to geek out on him from time to time for calling everyone a loon. it just rubs me the wrong way for some reason...i think it's because he uses it alllllll the time.

    I rarely agreed with DA's political opinions, if ever, but he wasn't the least bit snarky or mean spirited. After awhile I found myself smiling at the "liberal loon" references, and while the loon part is debatable (some may disagree...) he was definitely right on the liberal label.
