I can't even muster a scintilla of sarcasm for this shit condition.

Free car, free parking, vacation the whole year, sit in queues in the bank and postoffice, always have a seat and I am not wearing my shoes out.

The childbirths was terrible, I had the operation and it was painful for days after and they wanted me out after three days before I could get out of the bed alone

But isn't childbirth like the biggest trigger for dysreflexia?

Also it's great that the eyes are at ass level if i'm behind a girl walking that has a great one. I can then stare with impunity.

    I agree

I've been paralyzed for over 15 years, am lucky to still have sensation left, and generally have been able to keep a positive attitude because nobody else likes being around a person who is always negative.

That said, i absolutely loathe being paralyzed and would let someone cut off half of my fingers with a pair of garden shears if i could be healthy again. So i fully understand why many paralyzed folks can accept their injury and not be negative all the time, but despise with a passion that the injury happened and be somewhat resentful because that's exactly how i view my injury.

Just curious...do you consider yourself "unhealthy"?

Lower level paras do not get AD. Years ago, a para woman I knew woke up one morning to find a baby in bed with her. She slept through the whole thing.
