It's ok, I also was thinking why bother trying to convince someone we should be "celebrating" our anniversaries or however you want to put it when they are not going to agree? it's hopeless he/she is going to think what they want no matter what.

Sorry Anna..... You are right. It just makes me very upset that someone would actually think that life is not worth celebrating.

    Please accept my sincerest apology!!!

LMAO! We know that, silly. My two legs are paralyzed, too, but I still joke that I can kick people's asses.

    Congrats on two years!!

**Ryan, if you are reading this....STOP** (thanks and love you)

My husband's 1st year anniversary is coming up in August. Somebody mentioned how you didn't say you were throwing a party or anything, but that's exactly what I'm doing! I figured rather than sit around the house and think too much and probably be upset that day, I am arranging a surprise potluck picnic for him. So many people helped us get through his early hospital days (when we didn't even know if he was going to live), rehab, coming home, more hospital stays....

I thought it would be a way to celebrate Ryan surviving his accident and turning it into a GOOD day rather than one to dread. I've invited people we've never met in person but have supported us online or with prayers, cards, etc. I'm not much of a hostess so that's why I opted for a potluck and then I figured people on the fence about coming wouldn't feel like they were another mouth to feed or anything like that, either. I just want it to be a happy day with lots of warm fuzzies!
