    tiline aluminium fendered sideguards

    hi
does anyone know what tilites new aluminium fendered sideguards look like? i cant find any pics of them... the parts online page isnt working for me, but last time i checked they werent there anyway.

im interested in buying a pair for my tr, but dont know if theyll fit.

as per the tilite zr2 form:
ZSDG5 ❑ Fendered Adjustable (Available with 24” and 25” Rear Wheels. Requires Rear Seat Height D of 14.5” to 18.5”.) $295

    if anyone knows...
    1. what does adjustable mean?
    2. what colour will they be?
    3. what kind of clamp do they use?
    4. whats the weight difference, per pair and including hardware, between the cf and the aluminium fendered sg?
    and crucially
    5. they dont specify whether theyre removable or fixed, as the cf ones do a few lines later on the form. if fixed, does that mean they are cutout at the rear to allow the backrest folding hardware to work (like on the cf fendered sideguard that stefano got with his zr)?

    did i ask enough questions?

    Amy,

the new Adjustable Fendered Side Guards have a very distinctive look to them. They adjust for both 24"/25" wheels and center of gravity adjustments. I will post a picture for you shortly. They are for the new Series 2 ZR chairs only and wont fit on your TR. They are powder coated black and clamp onto the new Series 2 backrest bracket. The pair of them are fixed and weigh in at 2.0 lbs total which is actually lighter than the CF version which are removable - thus the weight difference. And lastly, the folding backrest will fold down between the fixed side guards.

    Hope this helps.

Is this a prototype chair? Looks like something new for adjusting rear seat height.

Interesting...the ZRA Series 2 pictures I have seen, such as on your web page, don't show the adjustment bars being near as long as these pictures. Is that soemthing the purchaser has a choice of?
