I was kicked out on the street of the last residence, a private house being used for room and board, w/o my laptop or cell chargers. Although I was able to get someone to go pick my laptop out of my things it turns out that the people who put my stuff out decided to retain the chargers. My plan is to replace the laptop charger so I'll have the use of the computer and access to the internet - but I don't know, even in a general ballpark sense, what that will set me back.

The laptop is a Toshiba L555D w a 17.4" screen. I've been told to expect to have to spend around $100 for the charger.
