How can I replace my laptop charger?

I was kicked out on the street of the last residence, a private house being used for room and board, w/o my laptop or cell chargers. Although I was able to get someone to go pick my laptop out of my things it turns out that the people who put my stuff out decided to retain the chargers. My plan is to replace the laptop charger so I'll have the use of the computer and access to the internet - but I don't know, even in a general ballpark sense, what that will set me back.

The laptop is a Toshiba L555D w a 17.4" screen. I've been told to expect to have to spend around $100 for the charger.

I buy 'em off amazon for $20. $2 extra gets it there quick. They aren't real durable tho, been offline due to breaking the last one.

And Frys wants at least $80 for the replacement Toshiba unit. I'm having trouble even settting up an Amazon acct. since you need an email addy - and this institution's computers won't let you download the software to set up email.

And the final word here, American River Care Center, is that I will not be able to go anywhere like Frys' while here. Since I have no one to send shopping I'm stuck with whatever I can work out through the internet.
