Stayed at the Tropicana (just before the parking garage collapsed) and found it to be OK. Stayed at Caesers Palace the second time and had a blast and a half. I lucked out and had a comped suite. Check online direct by Harrahs.com, click on Hot Deals and if at all possible, go during the week.

I´m not sure about Showboat, I never checked it out. Google the list of major casinos not associated with Harrah´s and compare deals (such as by the Taj Mahal). Don´t forget to bring lots of change with you for your way there and back. NJ nickels and dimes you to death to and from AC with one toll after the other. The state troopers are also hawks and will pounce on anybody speeding in a heartbeat.

Sounds like a weekend night. Book your accessable room, and then check the rates under Hot Deals as you get closer to your departure date. If the rate changes (and it may happen just a few days before hand once Harrahs estimates its occupancy rate for the upcoming weekend), call the hotel direct and tell them there is a Hot Deal and you want the reduced rate. Since your accessable room is already reserved, you won´t have to worry abount not getting an accessable room for the new rate. The only real drawback is you will have to pay for the room in full with your credit card when you accept the Hot Deal rate. If there is some kind of convention going on, there may never be any discount however. Saturdays seem to be very tight when it comes to discounts, but, you never know. Good luck!

I'm a T5/t6 para and stayed at the showboat for a few days for the last 3 summers. I like it because it seemed to be the cheapest and was at the end of the boardwalk. Got a good workout every day going end to end on the boardwalk.

The room was accessible enough, could get on the toilet and they had a roll-in shower(with bench) in the bathroom.

I'm more into hanging out side on the board walk then gambling so I didn't care what casino I stayed in. Let me know if I you have any thing else I might be able to help you out with.

PS my avatar pic is on the pier behind the "mall" on the boardwalk
