That's great Soliloqy; I look forward to meeting you! Pat, you're only 4 booths away from mine in 211 so I'm sure we'll get a chance to chat; I definitely want to see your stuff.

    Best,

You got that right. It was an insane amount of people with disabilities. I've been to it 3 times and I'm looking forward to next week. Every time I go I see some awesome products. I never would have know about the frank mobility scalamobil if I didn't attend. That thing is great. It makes going to relatives and some friends houses so easy.

And what i don't find useful for myself I share with others. I go to spinal support group every other week at Helen Hayes rehab hospital. So I meet with people of all disabilities and share the information and products I gather with all of them.

If you can find the time to go...DO IT! You'll be glad you did.

The next meeting on May 26th will have "a guest speaker, Don Plunkett. He will discuss overcoming challenges, dealing with disability and the role adapted bowling played in his life. Don is a former patient of Helen Hayes and great example of how perseverance will pay off."

The group ranges from 5 to 20 people depending on the day, topic, and everything else. Also there is a lot of clinics for Golfing, handcycling, rowing, kayaking, softball, basketball, water skiing all sorts of stuff.

It's just good fun. We goof off and bull shit. Talk about any and everything. Share stories ideas help each other out. It's a mix of out and in patients. PM if you want more details or anything.

hey Vud; I was at Helen Hays today showing the staff our Go-Anywhere Chairs and got talking to Matt for awhile. I guess I missed a good meeting last night; bummer.....I had to be at a family dinner so I couldn't make it but I'll definitely make a point to be there on my next trip.. Thx for the post and the info.
